During an energy management process, C&W-TESCO uses a commissioning-based method in order to improve performance of a building’s electrical, mechanical, hydronic, and controls systems. We create detailed energy conservation and facility improvement measures in order to reduce energy consumption in a building and improve the performance of systems.
C&W-TESCO creates detailed analysis and presentations to provide the client with a clear understanding of the energy management process.
We work directly with the client in order to accomplish the energy goals of the owner. These goals may include increasing their Energy Star rating, LEED accreditation, and saving money on their utility bills, among other goals outlined by the owner.
A typical Energy Optimization for an Existing Building Commissioning job will quantify the costs of each improvement, verify performance as specified in the Energy Conservation Measure, and track building performance to measure and document the results. This information can assist the owner in receiving a higher Energy Star rating (or similar recognition) which will enhance the value of the building. The process is tailored to each owner’s specific objectives and we integrate the owner into the process to make sure our goals are driven by the owner’s needs.
